WIC Referrals, Advocating for Families, and the Role of Waisman Family Navigators

Speakers Mary Marcus, MS, RD, CD, LDN and Erin Thomson, MSW, LCSW, UW Waisman Center Family Navigator and Clinic Coordinator for the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinics will speak on how to advocate and refer families to resources. They will discuss how family navigators at the Waisman center work with families and their role, referral process and resources available to families, including an overview of the Wisconsin Children’s Resource Centers.
