Referral Process & Advocating for WIC Families

September 30 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Speakers Mary Marcus, MS, RD, CD, LDN and Erin Thomson, MSW, LCSW, UW Waisman Center Family Navigator and Clinic Coordinator for the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinics will speak on how to advocate and refer families to resources. They will discuss how family navigators at the Waisman center work with families and their role, referral process and resources available to families, including an overview of the Wisconsin Children’s Resource Centers. WWA Members will leave feeling more confident when making a referral to other health care providers. 

Cost is free, registration is required.

WWA has not pursued CEUs with CDR for this event.
